You missed out!

managing overwhelm

Do you feel stuck and have a difficult time prioritzing the many demands that are bombarding you?

Do you feel an overpowering sense of helplessness when you think of all of these demands and your inability to get them done? Like the world and all its problems are just piling up on your shoulders?

The Compounding Effect

When you have constant overwhelm that is left unchecked in your life, things begin to snowball and there is a severe compounding effect that begins to take a toll on you.

The overwhelm that you thought was momentary has now become habitual and will have you feeling constatnly stressed.

This constant feeling of stress will lead to chronic depletion. And we all know what it feels like to try to give to others from a state of depletion.

The Crisis for Women

This depletion has truly become a crisis for women in our world. It is a crisis that is having a huge impact on society.

Think about it. When you are overwhelmed, you have a hard time maintaining balance in all the areas of your life.

  • Your marriage suffers
  • Your family is stressed
  • Your ability to contribute to your friends, your community and your work is compromised

A Viscious Cycle

Even more tragic is that this habitual overwhelm then becomes a viscious cycle; passed down from mother to child.

You see, when an ovwerhelmed mother raises children from a state of overwhelm and depletion, her children become overwhelmed, too.

This child turns into an overwhelmed teen, impacting others around them, who then becomes an overwhelmed adult.

If no one learns the skill of managing overwhelm, the cycle will continue on unheaded.

There is Hope!

It's overwhelming just thinking about all of this overwhelm and the harm that it is doing to women, families and society.

You can take heart, though, in the fact that this crisis is not your fault!

You simply have not been taught how to manage this overwhelm.

Managing Overwhelm

In this online mini-course, you will learn the important skill of managing overwhelm. The Woman School founder, January Donovan, will teach you specific strategies to deal with the three types of overwhelm you are facing in your life. This is a skill that, with practice, will transform your life and the life of your family!

A Real-Life Example

As a busy mom you always have multiple things (not to mention people) pulling at you.

You're trying to get out the door to get to an appointment. You can't find your keys and one child can't find their shoes. You're already running late because the dog chewed a beloved toy and you had to soothe that wound.

Just as you're about to get everyone out the door fully clothed, your husband starts texting you with an insurance question. You know now is not the time for this, but you need to quickly explain that to him before the littles start taking shoes and coats off.

Can you feel the overwhelm yet?

This mini-course will help you learn to manage these moments. You'll also be able to look at your life and determine whether or not you're in a season of overwhelm, or if you're perpetually stuck in overwhelm.

More importantly, you'll then learn what steps to take to manage the overwhelm and live as the mom you were created to be - one who doesn't snap when things get to be too much.
