My name is Laura Dominick and I am a Catholic, a wife, a mother and a homeschooler. I have been married to my wonderful husband for over 23 years now and together we have seven children: 5 girls and 2 boys. We have been a homeschooling family from the time our oldest daughter was ready for kindergarten. Well, she's out of high school now, so I guess that means we have some mileage under our belts.
1. My husband and I found SBI and we wanted to build some great, content based websites and 2. I wanted to use all of the knowledge that I had accumulated about homeschooling to help others.
That is how this book came to be, too. I realized that by the time I was trying to homeschool four children, I really needed to get my act together. That began the process of trying to organize my time into blocks that I could manage. This passion then grew into a workshop that I put on for other mothers to help them get organized.
From that grew this book; a way to reach a lot more people in a much more economical fashion. I hope you enjoy this book and benefit from all that it contains.
I must warn you, though, that if you don't ever work through the workbook, you won't see any improvements. As soon as you receive it, get right to work!
My prayers will be with you as you venture forth on this journey to be more organized and have a plan for your day.
If you'd like to follow me on a more regular basis, I have a blog called Homeschooling with Joy, in which I blog about homeschooling, our daily adventures and my Catholic ruminations. I'd be happy to have you along for the ride.
